Yoga Class - Instagram Post (2).jpg

The goal of yoga, as I have come to see it, is simply to...

Feel good. Have fun.  And, go out into the world & be nice to other people.

WHEN:

Sundays 11am - 12pm

WHERE:

Railyard Apothecary - 270 Battery St, Burlington, VT

HOW MUCH?:

All classes are by donation. Cash, check, card, PayPal, & Venmo accepted.

($10 is great. More is great. Less is great.)

WHAT CAN I EXPECT:

All classes will be vinyasa (flow) classes with a mixture of strength-based & soothing postures. Think sun salutations, warrior poses, lunges, and also soothing poses like pigeon, seated postures, & of course savasana! Each class will close with a meditation & chanting. We will play with more advanced postures like arm balances & inversions, but you can always do whatever you want - laugh, fall over, take a nap. You do you!

And, as with every yoga class I've ever taught, you can also expect a hearty dose of epic playlists, laughter, &  fun.

Classes are all-levels and modifications will be offered, as needed.

CLASS PROTOCOLS:

Masks are to be worn at all times regardless of vaccination status. Yes, I will be wearing one too. We will reassess the need for masks periodically.

You are always welcome to arrive late or leave early, however please be aware that ON SUNDAYS the front door to Railyard Apothecary will need to be locked by the time we begin class because the shop is closed that day.

Hi! I am a 500 hour certified yoga instructor. That means that I've completed 500 HOURS(!) of training with my teacher in order to become certified myself.

I've been teaching yoga since 2013 and practicing since 2008. In fact, before Sauvage Wellness I was a full-time yoga instructor for years.

I've taught over 1,000 yoga classes, assisted with teacher trainings, & have practiced with some of the biggest names in yoga and through it all I always find myself back at the same place...

Yoga is for feeling good. Yoga is for connection.

To ourselves, to others, to nature, to everything.

Yoga is my movement, my prayer, my playground, my home.

You should also know that I'm really serious about NOT taking yoga all that seriously.

You won't find me nit-picking alignment, telling you that you have to do it this way or that way, or getting all worked up if you ignore what I'm teaching and add your own flair.

Yoga class is about you. Not me.

How exactly do yoga + our wild woman work here at Sauvage Wellness fit together? Perfectly, that's how.

Connecting to our bodies. Remembering our primal rhythms. Feeling our way through. Quieting the mind. Connecting to Spirit.

This is what we spend so much time focusing on here at Sauvage Wellness.

And, yoga is a path to all of this and more.

Yoga brings us back home.

To our bodies. To our breath. To our primal being. To our feelings. To our flow. To nature.

If you're ready to deepen your connection to your natural rhythms, access your wild wisdom, & connect to your intuition -- yoga can help show you the way.

xoxo,

Brandy
